ENTERTAINMENT TENT DAILY SCHEDULE  - FREE

Monday - Senior Day & Veteran's Day

Ragtime Rick and the Chefs of Dixieland Band

10am - 12noon

Visit their website at:   www.chefsofdixieland.com

Ragtime Rick and the Chefs of Dixieland is a 7-piece Traditional Jazz Band  "sure to make
you smile!"    Rick Grafing operated his own club,  Ragtime Rick's First Draught,  for over 22  years in ToledoOhio.

After the popular landmark closed in 2003,  he resumed a career as
a ragtime performer, playing at concert halls, private parties, corporate events, gatherings for     various organizations,  and Senior Citizen Centers.

His son John Grafing, trumpet student at the University of Toledo,  and  Ben Herrick,  a UT
Graduate and trombone player, suggested that they form a "hot jass band."  An ample supply of aprons and restaurant uniforms resulted in the Chefs of Dixieland. "Banjo Betsy " Grafing, Rick's wife, was the obvious "pick" for banjo player. Other band members include Jan Mudica on soprano sax (the Chefs refer to it as the "fish horn"), and Gene Giesige on string bass. Tad Dickerson, drummer, joins the Chefs when the full 7-piece band performs.

 New Outlook Blue Grass Band

2pm - 5pm and 7pm - 9pm

Visit their website at:   www.newoutlookbluegrass.com

Leading the group New Outlook is husband and wife team Lori Lyn and Brad Lambert.  Lori plays upright bass and contributes powerful lead and harmony vocals reminiscent of some of the greats she listened to as a child, Dolly Parton, Connie Smith, and more recently her good friend Dale Ann Bradley, are among the long list of favorite artists that influenced her soulful singing.

Brad brings to the band his own style of hard-driving banjo pickin' and lead harmony vocals and adding his talents on various other instruments as well.  His influences include Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs, Jimmy Martin and the Stanley Brothers...the music his father turned him onto as a youngster.  Terry Baucom and Sammy Shelor top his list as most respected talents in the business today.  Lori & Brad also collaborate together by writing much of their material.  Currently they reside in Wapakoneta, Ohio.

Additionally Merrell Boggs contributes lead & harmony vocals and Mike Adams contributes guitar and lead and harmony vocals.

8pm - 11pm  Polly Mae Band

So ya might be askin yourself....Who is Polly Mae? Chances are, the reason your here is cuz you've heard us or our music so let me tell ya a little story about ourselves and how Polly Mae came about.....(This is where we'd sit on the front porch and have a sweet tea or a cold beer)

First off, we're sisters....Jodi bein the oldest and Dale Ann bein the baby sis. We were raised most of our lives on and/or around our Grandparents 400 acre farm in Waynesfield, Ohio and to both, we owe a huge thank you for our raisin'....so we wanted to choose a name for our lil duo that encompassed our true roots and good ole country livin....so Polly Mae was the perfect choice!

We've been singin a long time from about the age of 3 years old. We grew up around country, blues and gospel music and we were raised in a very musical family. Being ten years apart gives us each a unique sound to our voices, one bein a lil rockin country and the other a soulful sound but the blend of our family harmonies makes us kinda...well guess you can judge that for yourself.....hope you like what ya hear!

Dont Be a Stranger!

DAILY ENTERTAINMENT ON THE GROUNDS & MERCHANT BUILDING

Merchant Building - General Motors Defiance Casting Operations

General Motors Defiance Casting Operations and UAW Local 211 are proud to be a part of this year’s Putnam County Fair as we have a long history of employing many Putnam County residents. Our strong commitment to casting quality iron engine blocks, heads and crankshafts, as well as aluminum engine blocks and heads can be traced back many generations. From the time when our plant opened in 1948 to the present, our foundry has seen vast changes, but our “can-do” work ethic has remained the same. We remain committed “To be the casting supplier for the world” and our focus on providing a safe working environment and working together to help General Motors build the world’s best vehicles has always been and will always be our goal.

The Putnam County Fair has invited us to participate and showcase our exciting new vehicles, and we invite you to get behind the wheel of a new Chevy, Buick, GMC or Cadillac. Your family and neighbors play a big part in GM’s success, and we are proud to have so many dedicated workers living in and around Putnam County. Enjoy the tradition that the Fair brings and appreciate the heritage that the Fair has to offer. As GM builds momentum on the way to gain market share and returns to profitability, we realize that people really do make the difference, and within our foundry we recognize that world class quality castings starts with a world class labor force. General Motors has committed to invest over $300 million at Defiance Casting Operations in the new generation of fuel efficient engines.

We are excited to be a part of the Putnam County Fair, and we hope you will share our enthusiasm by test driving one of our new vehicles at a local GM dealership near you.
