WELCOME TO THE PUTNAM COUNTY FAIR!

 Oh No! Not another flood?!

Oh yes!  Another flood - a flood of fun at the 153rd Putnam County

Fair.  Our entertainment schedule is running over with a wide variety
of attractions.  Set sail for Ottawa June 24 - 29, 2008.

During the Great Flood of 2007, the Fairgrounds was honored to
serve as "high ground" for various flood relief efforts.  We facilitated
FEMA, pet rescue, county office relocation, business assistance,
private citizen needs and debris stockpiling.  Your fair stepped up to
help all when they were down.  Now it's time for a little more flood
 relief - fair fun!

March to the beat of the County Band Show Spectacular.  Witness
a most memorable tribute to our beloved Veterans.  Dash to the
crash at two big car demo derbies.  Watch the combines try to
harvest each other.  See the pickup "bang up".  Gaze at the daze of
fireworks.  Race to pick your winning horse.  "Rock" with The
Robinson Family.  Pop in with your kids for the Poppy Town Puppet
Show.  Get "down on the farm" with The Barnyard Express.  Take
the ride of your life on the midway.  Have a great time at the Putnam
 County Fair.

The Board of Directors of the Putnam County Agricultural Society
wants you to have a enjoyable experience a the 153rd Putnam
 County Fair, June 24 - 29, 2008.  Youth organizations such as 4-H,
FFA, Junior Leaders and Junior Fair Board - just to mention a few -
will be on parade.  We extend a "thank you" to the various
merchants, retailers, businesses and corporations, for their displays,
sponsorships, and advertisements.  The Fair Board also appre-
ciates the participation of all exhibitors.  We acknowledge the
continued support of the County Commissioners and the service of
 state and local officials.

Please accept this book as your official invitation.  The Putnam
County Fair is Great in '08.  It's overflowing with fun.
